What We Do

Kits for Kids is a student-led nonprofit dedicated to bringing fun, creativity, and connection to children during their hospital stays. We create hands-on activity kits filled with everything kids need to enjoy activities like slime-making, LEGO building, and more. We also visit hospitals to complete these activities alongside the kids, giving them a chance to have fun and interact with new faces. For children who are unable to leave their rooms, we provide bedside kits so they can be included too. Our goal is to give kids a break from the hospital environment and something exciting to look forward to. As we grow, we hope to introduce even more creative activities and reach more pediatric hospitals. We also want to bring together student volunteers who are passionate about making a difference. Ultimately, Kits for Kids is about creating moments where kids can simply be kids.
