Kits for Kids is a student-founded nonprofit inspired by our time volunteering at a children’s hospital. While spending time with patients, we saw firsthand how much a simple activity or friendly face could brighten their day. When kids began asking when we would be back and if they could see us more often, we realized these moments were making a real impact. We wanted to create more opportunities for kids to have fun, be creative, and connect with others during their hospital stay. We also wanted to make sure children who were unable to leave their rooms could be included. That experience inspired Kits for Kids and continues to shape everything we hope to do.
